Damiana helps calm the mind and body by supporting healthy neurotransmitter balance, which reduces mild stress and promotes relaxation. It promotes healthy libido and sexual function by supporting blood flow, enhancing nerve signaling, and supporting hormone regulation. Damiana supports digestion by stimulating digestive secretions and gently toning the gastrointestinal tract, which can help with mild bloating or irregularity. It also has a mild diuretic effect, supporting the kidneys in eliminating excess fluids.

Directions
Add one to two dropperfuls in juice or water two times a day or as needed. Herbs respond differently in every body, so always start with less and adjust according to how you feel.

Ingredients
Damiana (Turnera diffusa) with distilled water & 50% alcohol, 1:4 herb strength.

The amount of alcohol in a typical tincture dose is very small, usually equivalent to, or less than what’s naturally found in a ripe banana. We prefer alcohol because it ensures the plant compounds reach the areas of your body where they are needed very fast, while with glycerin or capsules, some of these compounds can be lost during digestion and absorption. 

If you prefer less alcohol or no alcohol, add the tincture dose to a cup of hot water or tea, and wait two minutes before drinking—this allows much of the alcohol to evaporate.
